Smog check worries
California usually asks the seller for a recent smog certificate when a car changes hands. If yours would not pass, tell us in the condition questions: we still make an offer, and we explain what we need at pickup.
Paperwork in California
Titles in California go through the California DMV. Have the title, a photo ID and all the keys ready; we fill in the transfer paperwork with you at pickup. Requirements vary, so we confirm everything on the phone first.
